"Our aim is architecture
that is consistent in every respect."
"What interests us about the future is its presence, as it becomes visible in the constant changes in our living and working structures or in the development of new technologies. In the architectural competition to redesign the area around the Old Opera House, the existing structures were integrated and not broken through. A perimeter block development was created along Gärtnerweg and Leerbachstrasse and opposite Rothschildpark. The backbone of the ensemble is an elegant curving section - DIE WELLE (German for THE WAVE). In terms of urban planning, DIE WELLE was a completely new departure. This building breaks the trend for large office buildings as towers. DIE WELLE proves that it is possible to structure office space differently and find other solutions." Helmut W.
